Growing up the, "Son of the Mob" is very difficult for Vince because he doesn't want any part of the family business. The author has made Vince's struggles funny and entertaining since Vince is in the Luca family and in love with an FBI agent's daughter. Yet, I think the point the author is trying to make is that growing up and finding our independence is a difficult struggle for everyone. So I would conclude that the main theme of this book is that growing up and becoming independent adults is a struggle. You are currently in the midst of this process. ReplyDeletemy dad works at cesna and my mom is a transcriptionist and i wouldnt mind doing either, i moved out for 3 months and lived with one other friend in an appartment so that i could be financially independent, my parents are understanding so they shouldnt mind who i date, my mom always tells my girl friends past stories from when i was a kid so thats embarresing.
ReplyDeleteI am diffrent from my family because I'm more of the sporty type and because I dance ( a lot), I do want a diffrent career because for one even tho I like fixing things and putting things back together and I like taking care of people is not what I want to do for my life choice., Money wise I don't try to be independent,I am dting someone right now that my dad does not approve but my mom does, and no my family never embarressed me.
